You must be at least 13 years old to use CleanProof. By using the platform you confirm you meet this requirement.
CleanProof is a platform that connects independent community participants who clean public spaces with funders who provide Bitcoin rewards for verified cleanups. CleanProof facilitates but does not guarantee rewards. Rewards are subject to peer review and fraud checks.
Independent participation. Participants who submit cleanups are independent community members, not employees, contractors, agents, or representatives of CleanProof or of any funder. CleanProof does not direct, supervise, or control how, when, or where participants choose to clean. Bitcoin rewards are community incentives for verified environmental contributions — not wages, salaries, or compensation for services rendered. No employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship is created by use of this platform.
You agree to submit only genuine, original cleanups you personally performed. You agree not to stage, duplicate, or fabricate submissions. Fraudulent submissions will result in permanent account suspension and forfeiture of any pending rewards.
You agree to review submissions honestly and independently. Coordinated or dishonest reviewing will result in account suspension.
Funds committed to a pool are used to reward verified cleanups. Pool allocations are 90% to cleaner rewards and 10% to platform operations. CleanProof does not guarantee any specific number of cleanups will be funded from your pool. Pools are non-refundable once active.
CleanProof uses Bitcoin and the Lightning Network for all payments. Bitcoin is volatile and CleanProof is not responsible for changes in Bitcoin value. All transactions are final and irreversible.
CleanProof uses automated fraud detection and peer review to maintain integrity. Accounts found to be engaging in fraud will be suspended permanently. CleanProof reserves the right to withhold rewards pending investigation.
By submitting videos, photos, and other content to CleanProof — including cleanup footage, selfies, and interviews — you grant CleanProof a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, display, publish, and use that content for platform operations, marketing, and promotional purposes across any medium including social media, press, and the CleanProof website. You retain ownership of your content and may request removal at any time by contacting hello@cleanproof.io. If you participate in a video interview you additionally confirm that you consent to that interview being published online and used to promote CleanProof.
The core CleanProof platform code is open source and publicly available at github.com/CleanProof-io/cleanproof. The reward calculation logic, review consensus rules, and payout mechanism can be independently audited by anyone. Use of the platform does not grant any licence to the CleanProof name, logo, or trademarks.
CleanProof is operated by Simeon Hagmüller, an individual based in Austria. CleanProof is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CleanProof is not liable for any loss of funds, missed rewards, or service interruptions.
CleanProof may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Austria.
